This cotton is hand-picked and hand-spun by indigenous women that are treated fairly, paid a living wage, and are able to support their families. The cotton is grown sustainably using natural irrigation, saving tons of water with each soap bag. The beads used for closure are either glass or natural stone and can be reused or recycled, while the bag is biodegradable and compostable.
